My Toys

Here I have begun to list the hardware and software that I use to produce the things that I do. The reason I am listing this info is to give you an idea of where you might want to start. Also, people ask me all during my computer class what I have and that can be distracting.  This can get scary!

Hardware

Pentium III 500

262 Megs of SDRAM

Voodoo 3500 Video card. Allows for TV and other video input via a special pod.

SoundBlaster Live: This is an excellent sound card that allows me to play and record high quality music

Plustek Scanner: This is a nice portable desktop scanner that has its own cache and the ability to do negatives and transparencies.

Software

Paintshop Pro: This is a picture editing program that I could not imagine being without. This allows me to quickly edit photos and animations so that I can share them with others both on the net and high quality cd or print.

Cute Ftp: Transferring files from my computer to the internet servers.

Microsoft FrontPage: Webpage editing

MGI Videowave III: For editing video files to be put on CD videotape or internet.

Adobe PageMaker 6.5+: Desktop Publishing

Adobe Acrobat 5.0: Creating online PDF files

Chat Programs:

ICQ: Very popular free program that allows for file transfers

        Paltalk: Free voice program.

        Microsoft Netmeeting: Video conferencing

  Editors

Stripmail : gets rid of all the extra junk from forwarded emails in a hurry. (free)

Other

Sony Mavica FD-91: I use this digital camera for all sorts of things. Making websites and photo CD's are the two main tasks.
